SHIATSU / DO-IN Weekend
Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique and is based on traditional Chinese medicine. The word shiatsu itself means "finger pressure". Thus, in Shiatsu, finger pressure is used, unlike needles used in acupuncture.
The Shiatsu method sets in motion energy in the acupuncture pathways, thereby restoring the body's energy balance to eliminate disorders in the body, maintain and improve health. It can alleviate certain health problems.
Shiatsu massage is deeply relaxing while strengthening and refreshing. Massage is usually done on a futon or mat directly on the ground, but can be done on a bed, a massage table, even if a person is sitting on a chair.. Oils and emulsions are not needed.
DO-IN is a system of percussion exercises or self-massage involving the whole body. Like Shiatsu, it uses the paths through which the life energy … ki, chi or prana… runs.
Both techniques are safe, very pleasant and lead to greater vitality, health, good spirits and are fun.
The course will be conducted by Bob Carr. You will learn the basics of both techniques (theory and practice), the map of energy paths, important points, the yin / yang theory and the five element theory. The participants work in pairs and take turns in giving and receiving the techniques shown.
The course is designed for individuals, couples, beginners and professionals alike.
